The President: Nanotechnology is aimed at achieving a knowledge competitive economy based on innovation

Today Tuesday, the president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary receives Eng Hossam Al Manfi, the head of Melka Factory for structural industries to discuss the rules of cooperation between the university and the factory in relating to the using of "Nanometer Crystallization” which are funded by Tico Office in the university to complete the final inputs of the project as well as search the latest technological developments in the field of science especially nanotechnology.

It is worth mentioning that the laboratories of Nano technology and science institute equipped with the latest advanced and equipment aims to conduct applied scientific researches for the service of the community to cope with the rapid technological developments in the world.

As well, el Kemary mentions that the university continues its efforts in the community participation, enhancing and supporting the culture of transition to knowledge-based economy via encouraging innovation, research and participation in the development of the business environment as well as instilling the culture of entrepreneurship in the university to graduate generation that have the spirit of innovation, ambition, responsibility and leadership.

Otherwise, the head of Melka Factory for structural industries praises the prestigious and scientific level of the university and the equipment of Nano Technology and Science Institute as well as he expresses his admiration for team work and laboratory capabilities available to postgraduate students, the university’s interest of the applied side and maximizing the benefit from the enormous possibilities that the university possesses as it has been a model for the Egyptian universities in terms of equipment and enormous potentials that match the world universities.
