Scientific Cooperation between Kafrelsheikh University and Japan in Nanotechnology

24/3/2019

Prof Dr Maged el Kemary visits National Institute for Materials Science in Tsukuba and Tokyo University as well as Tsukuba University to support the scientific and technological cooperation with Kafrelsheikh University especially in the field of Knowledge production. Tsukuba is the city of science in Japan and has 99 research institutes and National Institute for Materials Science is one of the top ten research institutes in the world and the first in Japan in knowledge production that supports advanced technological industries by producing new micro-materials used in the manufacture and development of industrial products with advanced technologies.

Today 4/2/2019, during the first day of the visit program, Prof Dr Maged el Kemary meets with the presidents and researchers of scientific groups in National Institute for Materials Science as well as specialists in the field of designing and manufacturing in Microelectronics such as micro-transistor, memory, micro – semiconductors, battery, new and renewable energy and nano application in the treatment of cancer as well as computerization of nano sciences.

During the meetings, they are acquainted with research ingredients of these research groups and research trends of researchers in these specializations, their innovative research productivity and their experiences in transferring techniques from academic to industrial environment as well as reviewing the activities of researchers who are delegates form Nano Technology and Science Institute, Kafrelsheikh University, to National Institute for Materials Science. They agrees to provide scholarships for researchers at Kafrelsheikh University to participate in research projects as well as hold workshops at Kafrelsheikh University to benefit from the advanced experiences of the Japanese side in the production of knowledge.
