The university president attends the scientific day activities of the Nephrology Unit at the Faculty of Human Medicine

 Dr. Yahya Eid, President of the University, attended the scientific symposium of the Nephrology Unit at the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, held under the title "CKD Updates." The symposium discussed the latest global scientific guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic kidney disease, as well as the most recent treatment protocols and technologies.

 
The event was also attended by Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Dr. Amani Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Ali Abu Shousha, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Nahla Naseer, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; Dr. Hatem El-Gohary, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Wael El-Feky, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Medhat Ghazi, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine and Chair of the Scientific Symposium; and a distinguished group of professors of internal medicine and nephrology from the Universities of Alexandria and Tanta, along with a large number of faculty members, physicians, and graduate students.
 
Dr. Yahya Eid, President of the University, affirmed that organizing this scientific symposium comes within the framework of the political directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which place the development of the higher education and healthcare systems at the forefront of the Egyptian state's priorities. This is achieved through supporting advanced medical education, modernizing academic programs, and improving the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens.
 
He emphasized that the university is working to align its educational and research plans with the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030 by preparing qualified medical professionals, promoting innovation in the health sector, and supporting scientific and medical initiatives aimed at improving healthcare services and achieving sustainable development across various sectors.
 
He explained that the university is giving considerable attention to developing its medical faculties, supporting applied scientific research, and encouraging the holding of specialized scientific conferences and seminars that contribute to transferring modern scientific expertise and keeping pace with the rapid advancements in medical science. This directly impacts improving the level of healthcare services, raising the efficiency of physicians, and achieving the highest levels of safety and quality in the provision of medical care.
 
The university president added that the Nephrology Unit's Scientific Day exemplifies the integration of education, scientific research, and community service. He emphasized the university's commitment to strengthening joint scientific collaboration with leading Egyptian universities and leveraging national expertise in addressing chronic diseases, particularly chronic kidney disease, a significant health challenge.
 
Dr. Yahya Eid concluded his remarks by wishing the Scientific Day's events success and hoping they would yield scientific and practical recommendations that contribute to improving medical performance, supporting the healthcare system, and fulfilling the university's educational and community mission.
 
For his part, Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, explained that such specialized scientific events reflect the distinguished academic standing of the Faculty of Medicine at Kafr El-Sheikh University and contribute to supporting continuing medical education and developing the clinical skills of physicians. He stressed the importance of continued scientific cooperation among Egyptian universities.
 
Dr. Amani Mohamed Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, affirmed that the scientific day comes within the framework of the university's community role and its commitment to linking scientific research to priority health issues, especially chronic diseases. She commended the Faculty of Medicine's efforts in organizing specialized scientific events that serve the local and regional community.
 
In his address, Dr. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, expressed his pride in organizing the scientific day for the Nephrology Unit, emphasizing the faculty's commitment to keeping pace with the latest international treatment protocols and offering scientific programs that contribute to raising the efficiency of physicians and improving the level of healthcare.
 
For his part, Dr. Medhat Ghazi, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine and Chair of the Scientific Day, indicated that the day's activities included discussions on the latest international recommendations in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic kidney disease, as well as the latest diagnostic and treatment methods.
