 Today, Tuesday, the University Council, headed by Dr. Abdel Razek Desouki, President of the University, held its regular session in the Council Hall to discuss a number of topics related to the educational and research process, and to review the developments and topics presented to the Council.

 
This came in the presence of Major General Gamal Nour El-Din, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Al, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Ismail Al-Qan, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Amani Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary-General of the University. , the deans of the colleges, and Counselor Abdullah Ghallab, the university’s legal advisor.
 
The President of the University began the work of the Council by extending sincere congratulations, in his name and on behalf of the Council members and all employees of Kafr El-Sheikh University, to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, for the confidence of the Egyptian people and the election of His Excellency for a new presidential term, wishing His Excellency success in serving the nation, praising the university’s efforts and its effective role in Positive participation during the period of constitutional entitlement.
 
Dr. Abdel-Razek Desouki also welcomed Major General Gamal Nour El-Din, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, thanking him for the effort made throughout the governorate, congratulating the University Council on the Merry Christmas and New Year 2024, wishing success and prosperity for our dear homeland, Egypt.
 
During the council meeting, Dr. Abdel Razek Desouki, President of the University, confirmed that the University is working hard to begin establishing the new private university next year and to work on preparing new study programs that suit the needs of the labor market.
 
In his speech, Major General Gamal Nour El-Din, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, praised the student march that Kafr El-Sheikh University witnessed during the days of the constitutional entitlement, which he witnessed through the governorate’s screens to follow the electoral process, and the regularity in movement and march, which is always the usual scene for Kafr El-Sheikh University, which takes the lead in the important events that take place. The Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh added: We contributed to the opening of a number of sites in the governorate, the most important of which was the opening of the King Fouad train station, which was transformed into a postal center after its restoration and return to its previous era. This opening was witnessed by the Ministers of Transport and Communications; Work will also be resumed on the Sakha Overpass, which will serve the traffic situation in the governorate. The trial operation of the Bella Central Hospital and the Oncology Hospital has also been carried out, and their operation has greatly contributed to serving a large segment of citizens. We also seek to develop the Motobas Central Hospital in an unprecedented way. At the end of his speech, he expressed his thanks. To members of the University Council, he also expressed his great happiness with his continued presence in any events taking place at Kafr El-Sheikh University.
 
The University President reviewed the issues related to the educational process, in which the Council approved the appointment to the position of professor for 4 faculty members in the Faculties of Arts, Agriculture, and Science, and the appointment to the position of assistant professor for 5 faculty members in the Faculties of Physical Education, Computers and Information, Dentistry, Engineering, and Commerce. In the position of teacher for 4 of the assistant staff in the faculties of science, agriculture and human medicine.
 
The Kafrelsheikh University Council also approved the granting of doctoral degrees to 16 researchers in the faculties of physical education, pharmacy, science, human medicine, education, and arts. Master’s degrees were also granted to 28 researchers in the faculties of veterinary medicine, commerce, fisheries, fisheries, human medicine, arts, sciences, physical education, education, and agriculture.
 
The University Council also approved granting a professional doctorate degree to a researcher in the College of Commerce, and granting a professional master’s degree to 25 researchers in the College of Commerce.
