Terms of Access for the faculty

·         The basis of acceptance in (Arabic – English – French – history – philosophy – sociology – psychology) sections is students' grades at high school, where students' are arranged descending according to their grades and then determining the accepted students within each section according to their desires. An exception is for the graduates of language schools with regard to the acceptance in English or French sections.

·         For archaeological department students are accepted according to their grades in English and French the higher then the lower.

·         For media department students are accepted according to the sum of their grades in (Arabic – English – French) the higher then the lower.

·         For libraries and information department students are accepted according to the sum of their grades in (Arabic – English – French) the higher then the lower.

·         For geography department students are accepted according to their grades in English, the higher then the lower and the department does not accept blind students.

Notes

·          Students of the scientific section, equivalent degrees and dismissed from faculties of El-Azhar must meet the previous conditions in  the departments of languages, media and archaeology, the rest of the departments are according to the students' desire of what he has not studied.

·         Older students are accepted according to their grades according to the year they got high school degree in.

·          The students' should be accurate in the order of his desires; because he would have to pay 50 L.E. if he wishes to change them (according to the decision of the university's council).
