Introduction

The management of youth welfare is pleased to welcome all of our students and providing them with many services like social solidarity fund aid, extracting nutrition Bonn for expatriates, participating in all students' activities (social- cultural- artistic- athletic- scouts- families)

 

1-    Social solidarity fund

Social solidarity fund aims at

 

a-    Achieving social security for students through different forms of insurance and social welfare

b-    Contribute to the implementation of services for students

c-     Working to solve the problems faced by students; preventing them from completing their studies, as well as conducting fund subsides for students in the form of

ü  Contribution to the payment of tuition fees

ü  Paying for the university's housing residence

ü  Buying clothes etc...

ü  Financial assistance when needed

ü  Contributing to the purchase of books, glasses and prosthetic devices for disabled students, plus disposal of assessed assistance for the regular and part-time students

 

Academic book subsidization

Regular students take advantage of the book subsidization in accordance with the rules of the supreme council of universities, as well as the university's council

Nutrition

Student nutrition department provides nutrition coupons for expatriates who are not resident in the university housing; which are available at youth welfare department, the price of each Bonn is 3 pounds for the week disposed on Tuesday of each week for the whole week starting from Sunday to Wednesday

 

Activities for students

 

Sport activity

 

is by giving the opportunity to participate in the university's league for various sport teams (football- handball- basketball- volley ball- table tennis- swimming- lifting weights- athletics- body building- karate); with the opportunity to participate in the tournament sectors plus establishing a tournament within the faculty where the teams of the faculty participate in activating the faculty's activity and forming close relationships between students and each other in a competitive through cultural, sport and artistic competitions

 

Social activity

 

Organizing student trips to instill the spirit of intimacy and friendship among students, as well as organizing scientific trips to identify the features of the homeland, archaeological sites and urban areas; plus working on the development of social ties among students, faculty and staff members to foster a spirit of cooperation and brotherhood

 

Artistic activity

 

 

·         Participating in university's youth meeting for the performance arts.

·         A reception party for new students.

·         Union's inauguration ceremony.

·         Scouts activity and public service.

 

 

Families' activity

 

 

Support and develop the spirit of brotherhood and bonding between students and youth's community within the family through joint hobbies, organized social work, physical and cultural activity that everyone participate in.

The commission is competent to families to encourage the formation of faculty's families and support their activities as well as organizing programs for families gathering within the faculty and outside of it in the university's faculties'.
