Within the framework of the English Department's interest in developing the students' skills in the English language, the department organizes a number of workshops under the auspices of Professor Abdulla Allam, the faculty's dean, and professor Laila Elghalban, head of the English department. These workshops aim at training the students to speak the Shakespearean language in order to be able to present a Shakespearean theatrical show in the Department's international Symposium which is due in March 2016.
