The Faculty Council Resolutions for April


1)    The council agrees for the following to participate with a research in historical society conference on 22-24/4/2013:

·         Dr Suliman Mohamed Hussein, assistant professor in History Department.

·         Dr Nabil Riyadh Abed el Mawla, lecturer in in History Department.

·         Dr Samir Hamid Mohamed, lecturer in in History Department.

·         Dr el Shaimaa Mohamed Badwi,  lecturer in in History Department.

The faculty does not bear any expenses and it should be presented over the vice president for postgraduate studies and research.

2)    The faculty council agreed to hold a seminar entitled "Woman in Islamic and modern History" on Tuesday 16/4/2013 in which the following discourses:

·         Suliman Mohamed Hussein, assistant professor in History Department.

·         Dr Nabil Riyadh Abed el Mawla, lecturer in in History Department.

·         Dr Samir Hamid Mohamed, lecturer in in History Department.

The faculty does not bear any expenses and it should be presented over the vice president for postgraduate studies and research.

 

3)    The faculty council agreed to hold a seminar entitled "family and its role in community renaissance in Egypt" in which the following discourses:

·         Prof Dr Ahmed Amin Silim, the professor of History of Egypt and Ancient Near East, Alexandria University.

·         Prof Dr Sozan Abbas Abed el Latif, the professor of History of Egypt and Ancient Near East, Alexandria University.

 The faculty does not bear any expenses and it should be presented over the vice president for postgraduate studies and research.

4)    It agreed to nominate the following to attend worshop in French Institute on 17-18/4/2013:

·         Dr Walid Shawki el Bahri, assistant professor in Department of Archaeology, Islamic Studies.

·         Dr Khalid Mohamed el Tali, assistant professor in Department of Archaeology, the field of Egyptology.

The faculty does not bear any expenses and it should be presented over the vice president for postgraduate studies and research.

 

5)    The council recommended the approval of History Department proposals regarding the statement of the supreme council of universities about cooperation with German Scientific Exchange and Alexander Von Humboldt institution.

 It should be presented over the vice president for postgraduate studies and research.
