Eligibility criteria


1.      Bachelor degree in Agricultural sciences from an Egyptian university or equivalent institution certified by Kafr El-Sheikh University.

2.      Students who obtained Bachelor of Agricultural Sciences  with an overall (D) GPA in the specialization subjects can apply for Master’s degree conditioned that they attend a certain number of credit points determined by the department and not exceeding 15 hours. The student must obtain 1.75 GPA points in these subjects.

3.      A student with any specialization in their First degree can apply for Master’s degree conditioned with studying undergraduate courses determined by the department of Agricultural Botany. The student must obtain 1.75 GPA points in these subjects that is not included in the Master’s program and each case should be evaluated solely.

4.      The student must pass any preliminary tests to join the course.

5.      The student should not have gone through any disciplinary procedures by any scientific institution in the past.

6.      Besides attending determined courses, a student must conduct research that is approved by the postgraduates and research council of the university (M.SC research) and included in the departmental research plan. The research should be suggested by the departmental council and approved by the Faculty of Agriculture council. It should not be less than 2 years and not more than 4 years of work time of registration date. A student can extend the research for one semester based on the academic guide recommendation and faculty and departmental councils. A student must obtain 1.75 GPA points at least in the studied subjects.
